Swiss Finance Minister Karin Keller-Sutter visits her counterpart in the United Kingdom
On 24 March 2026 Federal Councillor Karin Keller-Sutter met with her British counterpart, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, for talks in London.
The ministers exchanged views on the geopolitical situation and its impact on financial stability, as well as on the implementation of the Swiss–UK Agreement on Mutual Recognition in Financial Services. The Agreement came into force on 1 January 2026.
The one-day visit also included a meeting with the Governor of the Bank of England and Chair of the Financial Stability Board, Andrew Bailey, as well as a meeting with senior financial executives.
