Legal Affairs
The Legal Section is responsible for a range of tasks including:
- following institutional and legal developments in the United Kingdom;
- dealing with cases involving treaties and other sources of international law;
- observing human rights issues, and
- generally supporting the Embassy in giving advice in legal affairs.
It also handles general inquiries regarding UK and Swiss legal issues. It cannot provide legal advice in individual cases.
